I am so on the fence with my feelings on this game.

sis is a closet eaterĪwards: Audio Analyst (for thoroughly reviewing the files), Belly Full (for not working on an empty stomach), Cartographer (knowing your way around town), Dairylicious (for trying the flavors), Fire Specialist (for tracking down the possible starters), Legal Lawyer (for following the paperwork), Team Player (for getting everyone involved), Trivia Tamer (for your wealth of knowledge) I'd also forgotten that Nancy keeps a secret stash of Koko Kringle bars. I think it's another game that definitely benefits from the task list so you don't lose track of what evidence you still need to collect.

Notes: not bad, but not one of my favorites. Love: Alexei when he softens up Bess's dramatic ass and her voice actor spending an inordinate amount of time making every playable character sample all the ice creams looking around Nancy's house esp. Hate: having to call Nancy before switching to another character (however I like the mechanic overall and appreciate the variety) I find the game sort of drags near the end because you just need to keep changing characters to chat up different suspects Also, I don't mind Deirdre! I thought her and her attitude made for an entertaining character.

I did enjoy getting to play as the other characters, though, especially Ned since I feel like he's often not as involved in the mystery as even Bess and George are as phone friends sometimes. This is a complaint I have about a lot of the newer games, though.

There were a lot of places to go, but it felt like there wasn't much to actually do or explore at each location. I didn't love that that this game felt a little boxed-in. I wouldn't mind another River Heights mystery! Honestly it's a little surprising it took them this long to do a game in her hometown since they could have re-used assets if they set a couple of games in the same general location. Since it's pretty unrealistic for her to be on vacation in exotic locations ALL THE TIME, it was a nice change of pace. I liked the idea of a game set in Nancy's hometown. It was cool how HER included references to all the previous games and I love that we finally got to see Nancy's hometown.Īgain, probably not the best contributor this week since I haven't played ASH in a long time, but I will throw my 2 cents in! I liked being able to play as other characters, and the puzzles were fun. Then people will know who's lair it is! Thats crime 101" "Lol why does the culprit have a picture of themselves in their lair. "Dart board in the culprit's lair is so funny" "I.I think that was the easiest confession of a crime that Nancy's ever gotten out of a culprit lmao" Trouble in paradise?! Frank Hardy might have a shot after all.īut going off of that, I feel bad for Deirdre because Ned asked her out on false pretenses when she likes him so much."

"I get that Nancy is desperate to get out of jail but.telling your boyfriend to go on a date with a suspect who's in love with him? Idk how to feel about that. "I love how in the recordings Chief McGinnis sounds so done with everybody as the interviews go on"
